Un Rêve : en juillet 2018 je fis l’un des plus beaux rêves que j’ai eu. Je rêvais que j’étais dans une communauté où la vérité régnait dans le rapport avec les autres et dans la vérité de Christ. J’étais dans une grande plénitude et dans un bonheur si grand de pouvoir être avec des frères et des sœurs. Puis apparu le mot Aletheia. Lorsque je me suis réveillé j’étais dans le Shalom une profonde paix remplie de bienveillance j’étais pleinement avec le Seigneur dans mon cœur.
Ne connaissant nullement ce mot, qui m’avait été communiqué par le Saint Esprit, une brève recherche internet m’indiqua qu’il signifiait en grec Vérité. Dans mon rêve c’est le groupe qui s’appelait Aletheia et je découvris qu’un groupe de chrétiens portant ce nom existait aux Etats-Unis. Je leur envoya un message dont j’eu une réponse 3 mois plus tard et depuis je suis en lien avec Josh.
Josh a écrit sur son site un article sur ce mot Aletheia en rapport avec le contexte dans lequel il est utilisé dans le nouveau testament. J’en traduis ici ce que j’en ai compris.
Aletheia signifie vérité en grec. Mais alors que la plupart d’entre nous peuvent penser que la Vérité est objective il est assez clair (voir citations bibliques) que dans les Ecritures l’idée de Vérité est fréquemment associé avec la plus grande vertu, l’Amour. Ces versets (voir ci-dessous) montre que la Vérité dans les Ecritures n’est pas juste propositionnelle mais relationnelle. En effet la Vérité apporte la liberté, elle permet à l’amour de se manifester, proclame la grâce, nous guide, combat le favoritisme, apporte des occasions de se réjouir et donne une solide fondation à notre marche. Tous ses aspects ne sont pas des doctrines strictes mais sont des manifestations de la Vérité en relation avec l’autre avec notre environnement.
Dans ce sens dire « j’ai la vérité » n’a aucun sens mais « je suis dans la vérité » est plus juste. D’ailleurs Jésus dit Je suis la vérité et étant le premier frère naît d’entre plusieurs nous sommes appelés à sa ressemblance. La Vérité c’est donc ce qui produit une attitude véritable avec notre prochain et avec le monde de façon plus général ce qui dans un monde de façades demande beaucoup d’honnêteté et une certaine franchise en disant la Vérité dans l’Amour (suite au prochain article).
